Özet
İnsan ve madde arasındaki ilişki kadim bir geçmişe dayanır. İnsanoğlu, yeryüzünde önceden var olan maddeler ve tekhnê karakteristiği sayesinde kendi ürettiği maddeler aracılığıyla kültür ve medeniyet inşa etmiştir. Her çağın kendine ait bir maddi kültürü vardır. Maddi kültür, tarih öncesi dönemi anlamak için olmazsa olmaz bir unsurdur. Tarih öncesi dönem ve maddi kültür arasındaki bağlantı diğer dönemlere göre daha fazladır, çünkü döneme ışık tutan tek materyal maddi kültürdür. Tarih öncesi dönemin kompleks yapısı insanlar ile şeyler arasındaki ilişkilerin arkeolojisi ile kavranılmaya çalışılır. Boncuk, tarih öncesi dönemin insan ve madde arasındaki ilişkisine ışık tutan hacmi küçük fakat etkisi derin bir objedir. İlk izleri MÖ 100.000&75.000’lere kadar uzanan boncuk genel anlamda insanlık tarihi özellikle ise kültürel gelişim, sosyal, ekonomik ve zihinsel alanları yorumlamada önemli bir unsurdur. Boncuk, tarih öncesi dönemin din, dil, gelenek, statü, cinsiyet, ekonomi, ticaret, sanat, teknoloji ve sosyalleşme alanlarında pek çok anlam içeren zengin bir anlama sahiptir. Tarihin her döneminde insanın kullandığı objeler her daim kimliğine dair izler taşımıştır. Boncuk insan kimliğinde etkisi olan en eski objelerden birisidir. Boncuğun beden üzerine takılan bir takı olması insanin kimlik inşası ile anılmasına yol açmıştır. Çalışmamızda boncuğun tarih öncesi dönemde sosyal ve kültürel anlamda insanın kimlik inşa sürecinde nasıl bir katkı yaptığı anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The relationship between man and material is based on a deep-rooted past. Human beings have created culture and civilization through the items produced by themselves in virtue of technê notion as well as the pre-existing substances on the earth. Every era has its own material culture. Material culture is the sine qua non element to consider the prehistory. The engagement between prehistoric period and material culture is higher than the other ages because the only element that shed light to the period is material culture. The complex structure of the prehistory could be perceived by means of archaeology of the relationships between human beings and things.. Bead is a small but highly active object that sheds light on the relationship between human and matter in the prehistoric period. The earliest beads are dated to about 100.000 BCE & 75.000 BCE. It generally helps to analyze the perception of human history particularly in the interpreting of cultural development, socialization, economy and mental fields. Beads are polysemous objects in the fields of religion, language, tradition, status, gender, economy, trade, art, technology and socialization in the prehistoric period. The objects used by people in every age of history have always represented the identity of people. Bead is one of the oldest objects that have an influence on human identity. People make comments on beads for the formation of human identity as it is worn on human body as an ornament. In our study, we have tried to mention how the bead contributed to the formation of human identity in the social and cultural concept in the prehistoric period.
