Özet
Sedat Veyis Örnek’in Türkiye’deki erken antropoloji çalışmalarını yakından etkilemiş
100 Soruda İlkellerde Din, Büyü, Sanat, Efsane adlı eserinde, başta Alman olmak üzere birçok
Avrupalı kuramcıdan ve kuramlarından söz edilmektedir. Bu araştırmacı ve kuramcıların kimler
olduğu sorusundan hareket eden bu makalede, adı geçen kuramlar, bu kuramlara mensup araştır-
macıların görüşleri, çalışmaları ve kitaba nasıl yansıtıldıkları, kitabın genel kuramsal özellikleri
de dikkate alınarak incelenmektedir. Eserin 100 Soru sistemiyle yazılmış olması, sosyal antro-
polojinin temel kavramlarının açıklanmasını, birçok kuramın aktarılmasını ve kimi araştırma
sonuçlarının sunulmasını sağlamıştır. Eser, dönemin Alman antropoloji ve dinler tarihi çalışma-
larının yanı sıra Almanca yayın ve çevirilerin aracılığıyla Hollanda, İsveç, İsviçre ve Rusya gibi
ülkelerdeki çalışmaları da aktarmaktadır.

Abstract
In the book of Sedat Veyis Ornek, Religion, Magic, Art, Myth in the Primitives in 100 Questi-
on that influenced the early social anthropology studies in Turkey, mentiones the names of mostly
Germans and many other European researchers and theorists. This study which was carried out
from the question of who are these researchers and theorists examines these theories and researc-
hers referring to these theories, their ideas and their studies and how they are represented at the
book according to the theoretical characteristics of the book. 100 question system also provides
the explanation of many basic concepts in social anthropology, the expresion of many theories and
the presentation of some research results. This book features the German anthropology and the
history of religions along with the other countries’ studies such as Netherlands, Sweden, Switzer-
land and Soviet Russia by the German translations and publications.
